Type: Part-time (Evenings & Weekends – 10 to 20 hours per week)
We are looking for a well-rounded individual, who leads by example. Community is at the heart of what we do at Bitmaker. We need someone bright, kind, and organized to be the face and first interaction with prospective students and partners. We are looking for someone with a strong customer service background and a readiness to handle lots of moving pieces.
This position involes enthusiastically performing many public-facing functions like greeting students, checking guests in, assisting with classroom setup, troubleshooting AV/technical issues as they arise, and coordinating event team members.
The main focus of this role is to be a customer service wizard, but here are other day-to-day tasks that you’ll be assisting in:
- Greeting students
- Checking guests in for events
- Assisting instructors with setup of projectors/presentations prior to class
- Setting up rooms for classes and events
- Troubleshooting AV/technical issues that arise
- Cleaning and maintaining event catering areas
Skills and qualifications:
- Ability to multitask and thrive under high pressure
- Comfortable understanding deadlines and creating a strategy to get it done
- Desire to help people and find solutions in a timely manner
- Proactive and committed to quality
- Restaurant/Retail and Startup experience a plus!
