Intro to UX Design

Thinking about taking your visual design skills to web and mobile apps? Want to learn how to build clickable prototypes without coding? Start learning UX Design in our free workshop.

This workshop will be taught by Dieter Limeback, Lead Instructor of Bitmaker's User Experience Design part-time course. Dieter is the Director of Design at Wave with previous experience a freelance designer, an in-house designer at a small corporation, and at a digitial marketing agency.

In this workshop, Dieter will create a prototype using Invision. We'll talk through a UI design created with specific design objectives, research insights, and assets. After introducing the design, we'll turn static images into a clickable prototype that UX designers can use for field research.

Getting ready to attend

All you need is a laptop with an internet browser! If you'd like to follow along and build your own prototype, you'll need to set up an InVision account (free).

About Dieter

Dieter is currently the Director of Design at Wave, a Toronto success story, having raised nearly $35M to date. Prior to Wave, he worked in a diverse range of environments, with stints as a freelance designer, an in-house designer at a small corporation, and at a digital marketing agency, building everything from small sites to high profile work for WIND Mobile, Kraft and Canadian Tire. He is the Lead Instructor of Bitmaker's User Experience Design part-time course.
